Matte or Mask in Photoshop
Create a .psd (at least 2 layers, 1 transparent) the same size
as your video footage. Use presets in File>New.
Filmstrip
Create a filmstrip (.flm) in Premiere Pro or Aftereffects for import into
Photoshop.
File>Export>Media
Preset>Filmstrip
